The conference committee is pleased to invite you to register for the ANZTLA annual conference for 2026!
This is a wonderful professional development opportunity, where you will hear interesting and informative presentations from a variety of people. It is also an excellent opportunity to grow your professional network of like-minded theological library professionals from around Australia and New Zealand. Meet new people and reconnect with others you haven't seen since our last conference!
Our conference theme this year is From Scrolls to Screens which invites us to reflect on the rich heritage of theological libraries, while embracing the opportunities of a rapidly evolving digital world. As custodians of sacred texts, stories, and knowledge, we honour the scrolls that have shaped our traditions, even as we give thanks for the screens that expand access, connection, and learning today.
This conference will explore how we faithfully and creatively navigate the intersection of past and future in our libraries and communities. We are especially keen to hear from each other about how technology is being used in our libraries - both old technology which still has a place, and new technology including (but not limited to) AI.
The conference will be held at Mary Andrews College which is located on level 1 of St Andrews House, very close to St Andrews Cathedral, Sydney Town Hall, and the Queen Victoria Building in the heart of Sydney's CBD. It is easily accessible by public transport - train, metro, bus, and light rail - and there is a (paid) underground parking station.
On Friday afternoon we will hold a special celebration and exhibition at Moore College in honour of 40 years of ANZTLA, followed by a formal dinner.
